We’re excited to officially announce that msX Guard has been acquired by the WebOrbiton Team.
This marks a new chapter for the project, with improved infrastructure, a redesigned API system, and a clearer long-term development strategy focused on scalability and reliability.
msX Guard Acquired by WebOrbiton Team
Why the Acquisition?
msX Guard was originally created by MevaSearch as a global dangerous domains database designed to protect users from phishing, malware, and scam websites.
As the project grew, so did the demand for:
Higher API performance
- Better uptime
- Scalable infrastructure
- Commercial-grade security integrations
With WebOrbiton now leading the development, msX Guard is transitioning into a more powerful and sustainable security platform.

Why Did We Make This Change?
The honest answer is simple: sustainability.
Over time, msX Guard became increasingly costly to maintain. Infrastructure, servers, monitoring systems, and threat intelligence operations require continuous investment.
MevaSearch.com does not generate revenue from its projects, including the MevaSearch search engine itself. All services were operating without monetization, which made it financially challenging to continue expanding and maintaining msX Guard at the level users expect.
Rather than limiting growth, reducing quality, or shutting the project down, we chose a better path:
- Transition the project to WebOrbiton
- Introduce a sustainable pricing model
- Ensure long-term development and stability
This change allows msX Guard to continue growing — with stronger infrastructure, clearer funding, and a long-term roadmap.
Our mission remains the same:
Making the Internet safer, one domain at a time.
